# Hardware Support & Drivers

RICADO communicates natively with a wide range of industrial controllers, PLCs, and remote I/O modules. Below is a list of officially supported drivers available in our ecosystem.

## Industrial Protocols & PLCs

- **Omron FINS** — Native communication with Omron PLCs via Ethernet (TCP/UDP).

- **Modbus TCP & UDP** — Standard implementation for connecting to Remote I/O, VSDs, and generic PLCs.

Modbus Driver

- **Unitronics PCOM** — Proprietary binary and ASCII protocol for Unitronics Vision and Samba series.

Unitronics Driver

- **Allen Bradley** — Native support for CompactLogix and ControlLogix processors via EtherNet/IP (CIP).

- **Harvest Wireless** — Support for Harvest SRR, LRR and XLR devices via a local receiver.

- **LoRaWAN** — Integration with wide-area wireless sensor networks via The Things Stack.

- **Mettler Toledo** — SICS protocol support for high-precision industrial floor scales.

## Supported Hardware
The following is a list of standard hardware that has been validated for use with the RICADO platform. While many other devices are supported via generic protocols (like Modbus), these specific models have dedicated testing or driver support.

> Any device that supports **Modbus TCP** or **Modbus RTU** (via a gateway) can be integrated, even if the specific brand is not listed above. This includes Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Power Meters, and Environmental Sensors.
